The collective of associations involved in the fight against AIDS Loiret moderate collecting donations at the Sidaction 2008 on Saturday afternoon, 29 March 2008. Metal boxes, entertainment in the city of Orleans will collect donations, concerts, sporting events, selling pins, t-shirt, bracelets to Sidaction.
This is the 28.29 and 30 March 2008 and also by telephone, your promises to 110.

23, 24 and 25 March 2007, as Sidaction organizes an annual weekend of solidarity. The theme this year is solidarity.

Throughout the weekend, television and radio stations dedicate all or part of their programs in the fight against AIDS (testimony, calls for donations, specials).

The SIDACTION 2006 comes at a time when the epidemic is growing strongly in France and worldwide (source: UNAIDS and SIDACTION):

40.3 million people living with HIV (including 17.5 million women and 2.3 million children)

4.9 million new infections and 3.1 million AIDS deaths last year

25 million people died following the AIDS worldwide since the epidemic began in 1981

France has over 150 000 seropositive. The latest epidemiological data issued by the Institut National de Veille Sanitaire (InVS) show at least 7 000 new HIV diagnoses in 2004 (against 6 000 announced in 2003)

All funds raised will enable the association SIDACTION develop programs against AIDS, 50% of funds devoted to research and 50% to prevention and assistance to the sick.
