The therapeutic education was promoted by "the quality of life of persons with chronic disease" as a new benefit that could improve monitoring and quality of life of patients.
Despite repeated recommendations, methodological guides, it is clear the difficulties of implementing the provisions of educational therapy.
For example, less than 1% of the 3 million asthmatics receive educational approaches. These difficulties involved both professional cultures (culture of acute disease) patients (medical consumerism) as ways of organizing and financing of health.
In order to review the different modalities of its implementation, a day of information and trade is organized under the University of therapeutic education / health education center in the region in the presence of key players concerned.
