The first rays of sun fuel our desires and love is in all its forms. This is normal, the spring - Ah yes ... But in fact, how you doing love?
Love goes well ... and he is in La Villette. We have seen for you!
Since the liberalization of morals and the affirmation of feminism until today, love is in many ways. Paintings, collage, film extracts, reports, photographs illustrate just the words "marriage", "PACS", "celibacy", "single parent", "blended family," "homosexual", "homosexuality", "celebrations", "events "
The exhibition offers three party of 900 sq. m., a view of the large and small changes in Western society of the past thirty years. It is an invitation to wander, to look at the archives of the past, sit on a pouf to meditate, laugh and think.
The first part depicts a love manhandled by the company. Whether at work or insecurity in its struggles, constraints and mercantilism are violence and desire to forge inequalities into the elk love.
Later, the red walls of the exhibition reminder of our collective memory of the many battles that have been effective contraception, abortion, and later, the criminalization of rape (1984). From these conquests, a field of control of the body opens a new cultural era that can move the same forms of love, desire ... The female homosexuality, male sexuality and become legitimate areas.
In a third part is about the complex changes that redefine the relationships, disrupting the balance. AIDS is fear; codes of seduction between tanguent daring passages in the act and shyness; parentage no longer only by blood, it is elective; new forms of enjoyment appear as well as other erotic practices that make love visible. The roles are scrambling, confront, and that having the choice remains paramount: gay, lesbian, single, solo, hetero, trans, queer, etc ... Meanwhile, the family often remains a refuge.
To deepen, mediators are present on site and answer questions. Educational records, news complementary, the discussions are available to prepare for a visit with a group on http://amour.villette.com.
You can also rapporcher French Movement for Family Planning and planning centers for further on gender and sexuality.
