Principles and Values
The network of committees for Health Education recognizes the pre-health and health promotion defined by the Ottawa Charter:
"The preconditions for the achievement of health are peace, shelter, education, food, income, a stable ecosystem, sustainable resource use, social justice and equity. "
It endorses the following:
-> AUTONOMY AND RESPONSIBILITY OF INDIVIDUALS
If respect for individual autonomy is a basic principle to meet with responsibility of everyone on its own health and
the community, members of the FNES find that health behaviors are part of the choices of individuals, partly on the general societal context. Because of social, economic, cultural, the responsibility of persons is limited in their behavioral choices and the ability they have to change them. The overemphasis on social behaviors of health is reflected in the approaches to education and promotion of sustainable health.
-> HUMAN DIGNITY

Contributing to the formulation, implementation and evaluation of public health policies from local to national level.

The CODES of Loiret is a member of the National Federation of Committees for Health Education (FNES)
The funding of Loiret CODES come primarily from the State, health insurance, local authorities and are made mainly on action projects.
