The UNPS past 11 years organizing national meetings and regional umbrella associations mobilized around suicide prevention, with each year a different theme. Based on clinical and epidemiological findings on the importance of co-morbidities between addiction and suicidal behavior in 2008 the theme is "Addiction and Suicide."

In central region networks are organizing a suicide prevention day, for professionals involved in the issue of mental health and suicide on 5 February 2008 in Orleans.

Crescendoc, the documentary Education for Health Center will offer a bibliography on the topic "addictions and suicide" and lead a documentary.
