Diabetes networks Orleans Loiret (DIABOLO) and LOIRESTDIAB were sent to the Department of Education for Health of Loiret (CODES 45) to obtain information on the disposal of clinical waste (DAS). Indeed, patients acceding to the network, face the problem of eliminating waste their care. Noting the large number of existing documents on this theme, the Loiret CODES has proposed that a summary document that provides a state of national literature on the topic of health-care waste.

Purpose of the synthesis:
This synthesis aims to present the problem of waste disposal activity care infectious France, analyzing modest collection systems, and to prove that it is possible and important to establish a system collection efficient, low cost and in line with the regulations.

The collection of experiences:
Telephone interviews were conducted with the instigators of the various projects disposal DASRI selected for this synthesis.
